Neo-expressionism paintings travel in Pandemic to share the human experience
Wasseh works using hardboard, acrylic, and his shower. His technique of using the shower allows him to work with water to mold his art after the brushes have done their job. Depending on his expression at the moment, his work may be showered multiple times during the painting/drying process. His work is expressive yet reserved and elegant, characterized by muted colors. The combined elements of blurred colors and fine detail create captivating imagery.

Current exhibition: "“Out of the Dark"
Acutis office, November 2020, NY, USA
“A Glimpse of Hope”: That is what Wasseh wants to convey through his new cycle of paintings done during the covid19 pandemic called “Out of the Dark.” The corona virus stopped life around the globe. As much as it tore society away from its normality, it united the world acting as a common denominator as perhaps nothing in the past has. The paintings are meant to portray hope. Hope that we all have as we start to go back to life as it used to be. To feel and see the trusted and the familiar.
