Enhanced STI testing with our CLEP-approved laboratory-developed test menu

Updated: Mar 9, 2022

Utilizing a laboratory-developed testing methodology developed here at Acutis, our Acutis Reveal™ STI test menu offers practitioners three sample collection methods to detect several infectious sexually transmitted pathogens, including the highly transmittable Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV 1 and 2) and Trichomonas vaginalis.

The CDC states that the Trichomonas vaginalis parasite can lead to Trichomoniasis, or "trich," the most common curable STD in the US, with only about 30% of patients developing any related symptoms. Early detection of pathogens like Trichomonas vaginalis with Acutis Reveal™ STI will allow providers to begin antibiotic treatment regimens and help prevent the spread to others.
